Integrations

The five planned integrations, what each one will do, and what to use until they ship.

Integrations connect Reveal to the other tools you already run, so guide activity shows up in your analytics, your CRM and your support inbox rather than only in the Reveal dashboard.

You will find them in Settings, then Integrations.

Coming soon. None of the five integrations are live yet. Every one of them is marked Coming soon in the app, so there is nothing to connect on this page today. They are listed below so you know what is planned. Until they ship, use the API key or the CSV export described at the bottom of this page.

What is planned

Segment

"Identify users automatically via your Segment source."

Once it ships, Reveal will pick up identity from your existing Segment source, so guides can be targeted at real user properties without you wiring up a separate identify call. That also feeds the Custom segment… audience option on a guide's Behavior tab.

Mixpanel

"Send guide events (start, step, complete) to Mixpanel."

Guide activity will land in Mixpanel as events, so you can put onboarding steps in the same funnels and cohorts as the rest of your product analytics.

Amplitude

"Track guide funnels alongside your product analytics."

The same idea for Amplitude. Guide funnels sit next to your existing charts, so you can see whether finishing a guide changes what people do afterwards.

HubSpot

"Log guide completions as CRM events on contact records."

A completed guide will appear on the contact record, so sales and success can see what a given person has been shown before they reach out.

Intercom

"Trigger guides from Intercom tours or messages."

Instead of only firing on page load or on a link, a guide will be startable from an Intercom message or tour, so a support reply can hand someone straight into the right walkthrough.

What to use in the meantime

The API key. Every workspace has one live key under Settings, then API & Webhooks, described as "Use these to query your guide data from your own code". Use it to pull guide data into whatever you already run. See API keys.

The CSV export. Export all data in the Danger zone downloads all guides, analytics and feedback as CSV. It is the quickest way to get numbers into a spreadsheet or a warehouse without writing anything. See Danger zone.

Dynamic links. If what you actually want is Intercom style triggering, a guide's dynamic link works today. Wire any button, menu item or email link to it and the pixel starts the guide when the user arrives.

Next steps

  • API keys: Your workspace's live key, and how to rotate it.

  • Danger zone: Export all guides, analytics and feedback as CSV.

  • Notifications: Slack alerts for drop-off spikes and feedback.
