What's coming

Features you'll see referenced in the app that aren't live yet, and what they'll do.

Reveal is in beta, so a few things show up in the interface before they work. This page is the honest list, so you know what to plan around and what to ignore for now.

Custom segments and identify

The Custom segment… audience option appears on every guide's Behavior tab. It targets users by properties you pass in an identify call, which lets you show a guide to trial users on the Pro plan who signed up this week, rather than just to everyone new.

The call itself is still being finalised, so don't build against it yet. Until then, New users, Returning users, and All users cover most onboarding cases.

Integrations

Segment, Mixpanel, Amplitude, HubSpot, and Intercom all appear under Settings, Integrations, and all five are marked Coming soon. Once they ship, guide events flow into the tools your team already uses, and Segment can pass identity through so you don't have to wire it up twice.

For now, Export all data in the danger zone gives you guides, analytics, and feedback as CSV.

Integrations

Webhooks and the public API

Your workspace already has a live API key under Settings, API & Webhooks. The endpoints it will authenticate against are still being built.

Webhooks are planned for guide.started, guide.completed, step.skipped, and guide.rated.

Notifications

The email preferences under Settings, Notifications are all in place, including the digest frequency and the four per-event toggles. Sending switches on once the notifications service is connected, so set your preferences now and they'll apply when it does.

Slack is a separate connection and shows as Not connected until you set it up.

Site domain verification

Settings, Workspace has a Site domain field marked Coming soon. It doesn't gate anything today. Pixel detection is already handled by the Chrome extension, which reports back when it sees the pixel on your site.

The polish layer for MP4 export

Export as MP4 works and gives you a raw render: the screen recording with the camera bubble composited on top. The polish layer, meaning cursor smoothing and focus zoom on click moments, isn't applied yet. The app labels the export Raw render so you know which one you're getting.

Because the positional data is captured on every recording, the polish will apply to guides you record today once it ships. You won't need to re-record.

Paid plans

Billing is Free with unlimited guides during beta. Paid plans are on the way, and there's no card on file until you upgrade.
